Psychology Internship Overview



Puget Sound Psychiatric Center (PSPC) Pre-doctoral Internship Program offers a comprehensive training experience in Clinical Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychology. Our training program offers a total of three full-time internship positions within our outpatient clinical training center.  Both positions start in July of each year.

PSPC will utilize APPIC Match for 2018-2019 academic year as an APPIC member.


PSPC offers full-time, twelve-month internships to three doctoral-level graduate students from Counseling Psychology and Clinical Psychology programs. These internship positions begin July 1, 2018, carry a minimum salary of $26,000 per annum, and include vacation, holidays, sick leave.

Application Process: We will be utilizing the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC) standard application form, which can filled out online from their website.

To apply to our internship, please submit the following online: a current vita, graduate transcripts, a completed copy of the APPIC application form, and three letters of reference. Please note that we will not accept more than three letters of reference.

PSPC will be participating in the APPIC Internship Matching Program. The Program Code Number for PSPC is 232711. All applicants must obtain an Applicant Agreement Package from National Matching Services (NMS) and register for the Matching Program in order to be eligible for our internship program.
